Community Outreach
We believe that it is important to address the physical needs of people in distress because of our love for Jesus. Because such life-change is often a slow process, requiring time-intensive ministry and well-trained staff, we have joined the efforts of other churches in our area to support ministries that are meeting real needs.
Christian Community Action
Christian Community Action provides emergency assistance, housing, food, shelter, employment training, etc., to the less fortunate in our county. Through food, clothing, and toy drives, and by volunteering at their facility, we extend the love of Christ into our community.
Advocacy and Pregnancy Center
The Advocacy and Pregnancy Center provides counseling, mentoring and physical support for women who are in crises, due to a number of circumstances, including unplanned pregnancies. By providing support services, we help enable these women to find hope and to choose to preserve the lives of their unborn children.
Good News Clubs: Polser Elementary School
Once a week we staff a Good News Club at Polser Elementary School. It is exciting to see adults and youth getting involved in the lives of these children after school, teaching Bible stories and encouraging the kids who attend.
