	Ron Pastor Ron Dunton has been the pastor of Metrocrest Presbyterian Church since its inception in October 1989. Prior to starting MPC, Ron served as Associate Pastor of Town North Presbyterian Church in Richardson for six years. It was a core group from that church who lived in the Metrocrest area that helped Ron establish MPC in Carrollton. Ron was born in Columbus, Ohio, but grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Covenant College (the liberal arts college of the Presbyterian Church in America), located on Lookout Mountain, just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1978. While at Covenant College, he met his wife, Amy. They were married in 1977 and have three sons. Ron graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 1983. Upon graduation, he began his ministry at Town North Presbyterian Church, where he served as Associate Pastor until 1989. While serving as the organizing and Senior Pastor of Metrocrest Presbyterian Church, Ron has expressed his concern for young people by organizing a summer camp for the Middle School and Senior High youth from Presbyterian churches in Texas and Oklahoma every July since 1986. Each year he leads several youth staff and about 150 students as they go to Colorado to experience the excitement of a Christian camping experience together. Ron enjoys playing the piano and photography. He is also active in Presbytery, having served as Moderator several times, and at the General Assembly, having served on the Board of Covenant Theological Seminary and the Administrative Committee.
	John Pastor John Browne joined the staff of Metrocrest Presbyterian Church as Associate Pastor of Fellowship and Evangelism in the Fall of 2000. Before coming to Metrocrest, John pastored churches in North Carolina and Georgia. John is a native of Northern Ireland where he grew up near the dramatically beautiful Giant's Causeway on the North Antrim Coast. John received training as a finish carpenter in the early 1970's. In 1976, he traveled to the Lake District of England where he attended Bible school. While a student there, he met his wife, Betsy, a native of California. They were married in 1979. John and Betsy moved to the United States in 1980. After graduating from Belhaven College in 1985, John entered Reformed Theological Seminary and graduated in 1989. Both schools are located in Jackson, Mississippi. John and Betsy have three children: David, Kathleen, and Daniel. John enjoys getting out once in a while to play golf, woodworking, and getting together with friends for a cook out.
	Lisa Lisa, a native Texan, grew up in North Texas. She attended college at Midwestern State University studying Business Administration. She has worked in the Administration/Bookkeeping field for more than 15 years. Lisa also brings previous church environment experience to this church family. In fact you will be glad to know Lisa served as Secretary to the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. Lisa currently resides in Carrollton while her family still resides in Wichita Falls. Her grown twin sons both live in Flower Mound so she is able to visit with them frequently. In her spare time, she enjoys walking nature preserve trails in the area as well as reading and listening to music. Lisa looks forward to getting to know the membership of this church and interacting with you all.
	Sandra Sandra grew up in England, then moved to Canada with her husband, Mike, in 1980. Her three children (James 17, Amy 15, Rachel 13) were all born in Canada and the family moved to Texas in 2000. Sandra has been an “at home Mom” since coming to the States and recently started to work part-time at Metrocrest which she really enjoys. In Canada she was a church secretary for 5 years in Alberta. She and her family are active in their home church in The Colony and appreciate the welcome and friendliness of everyone at Metrocrest.
